Bedding and towels take up space. If you’re not using these items to protect other fragile items the best way to pack them, and utilize space, is to invest in a vacuum seal bag. Its amazing just how much space you can save. If you’re not using a vacuum seal bag you might look at wrapping them in plastic or using protective sheets.

Here are some tips on how to pack bedding.

Step 1: Select the right size box for each type of bedding: medium boxes for sheets, towels, linens, and heavier blankets, and large boxes for pillows, comforters and lighter and fluffier blankets.

Step 2: How to pack bedding using plastic bags? Plastic covers and bags will protect your fabric items from dust and moisture. Before arranging your bedding items in the box, slip them into plastic bags and use tape to hold the wrappings in place.

Step 3: How to pack bedding without plastic bags? Your bedding still needs to be kept safe during the move. Line the boxes with a single layer of plastic or paper. This way, your bedding items will stay clean all the way to the new home.

Step 5: How to pack comforters for moving? This item will take up the most room so make sure you have a container it will fit in. Fold your duvet and place it inside a plastic bag that is big enough for it, or line its box with paper. Press down hard on your comforter to compress it and make room for other bedding items.

Step 6: How to pack pillows, blankets and towels for moving? All these items are great for padding and you should seriously consider using them to fill any remaining spaces in boxes packed with fragile items. You can pack these items with the rest of your bedding. Alternatively, you can use them as protection or save on bubble wrap by choosing to wrap delicate and highly breakable items in the sheets and towels.

Step 7: Once all your bedding, towels and pillows are packed make sure you mark each box with a labeled description of what’s inside. This will help you’ll know exactly which containers to unpack and what room they belong to.
